Julien Waeber was born in 1977 in Geneva, Switzerland. After achieving a commercial "maturité", he lived for six months in Cambridge, UK, where he passed the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (1999). He is a graduate of the University of Geneva Law School (lic.iur. 2005), whilst having spent his last year at the University of Bern.

Julien Waeber completed his traineeship with the firm ZPG Ziegler Poncet Grumbach Carrard & Lüscher in Geneva (2005-2007) and he passed the Geneva Bar exam in 2007 (3rd rank). He joined Borel & Barbey as an associate in 2008.

Julien Waeber focuses his practice on Corporate and Business Law, as well as Commercial litigation. He is also interested in media, sport and art law.
