Adrien Tharin was born in Lausanne in 1984. He graduated from the University of Lausanne in 2006 and spent two semesters at the University of Zurich in 2005. He then obtained a Master of Specialised Studies (D.E.S.) with honours in European Law (2007) in Brussels. Adrien Tharin completed his traineeship with the law firm Ming, Halpérin, Burger, Inaudi from 2009 to 2011 and passed the Geneva Bar exam in 2011.

He joined Borel & Barbey as an associate in 2012.

Adrien Tharin was a member of the Geneva Young Bar Committee from 2009 to 2011. He is also a member of the Swiss Bar Association and the Geneva Bar Association.

Adrien Tharin also won national and international competitions of eloquence and oratory art.
