Lorine Meylan was born in 1979 in Lausanne, Switzerland. She is a graduate of the University of Lausanne Law School (lic.iur. 2001) and holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Business Law (MAS/LL.M, 2004, "with highest honours") from the University of Geneva Law School.
Lorine Meylan worked as a legal intern at the United Nations, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, in New York in 2001-2002, as well as at the American Arbitration Association in New York in 2003-2004. She also worked at the Trademarks Department of Philip Morris International Management SA in Lausanne in 2004-2005 before completing her traineeship with the law firm Lalive & Partners in Geneva (2005-2007).

 She passed the Geneva Bar exam in 2007. After banking experience at the legal department of JPMorgan (Suisse) SA in Geneva, she joined the law firm Borel & Barbey in Geneva as an associate in 2008.


Lorine Meylan focuses her practice on Commercial and Business Law, notably Company and Corporate Law (M&As), Banking Law and Contract Law, as well as Intellectual Property and Arbitration.
