Nicolas Killen was born in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1964. He is a graduate of the University of Geneva Law Faculty (lic. iur, 1986), where he was Articles Editor of the university review "Le Nouvel Humaniste" (1983-1986), as well as President of "Belles-Lettres". After two years with Borel & Barbey, Nicolas Killen passed the Geneva bar exam. He obtained an LLM degree from the Duke University School of Law, North Carolina, in 1990. Having passed the New York bar exam the same year, Nicolas Killen worked as a foreign associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City (1990-1991). Nicolas Killen returned to Borel & Barbey in 1992 as an associate and has been a partner of the firm since 1999. |
