Sarah Halpérin-Goldstein was born in 1982 in Geneva, Switzerland. She is a graduate of the University of Geneva Law School (lic. iur., 2005) and has spent two semesters with the programme "Swiss Mobility" at the University of Zurich's Law Faculty.
Sarah Halpérin-Goldstein was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2005. She worked with the law firm Lenz & Staehelin as a trainee (2005-2007) before joining law firm Borel & Barbey as an associate in 2008.

Sarah Halpérin-Goldstein is a member of the Swiss Lawyers Federation and the Geneva Bar Association.
