Marc Fischer was born in 1955, in Leopoldville, Belgian Congo. He is a graduate of the University of Geneva Law School (lic. iur, 1981). Marc Fischer was admitted to the bar in Geneva in 1981. After his legal traineeship with Borel & Barbey, he worked as an associate of the firm and has been a partner since 1990.
He is a member of the Swiss Lawyers Federation, the Geneva Bar Association and of the Geneva Business Law Association.

Marc Fischer was a Captain in the armed forces and a Colonel in the Military Justice. He was First President of the Swiss Military Court 2 until 2007.

Marc Fischer focuses his practice on Immigration, Naturalization & administrative Law, Trusts and Estate, Property and Real Estate Law.

Marc Fischer is legal counsel to and trustee of several families living in Europe and a member of various Swiss and foreign foundations, including non-profit, charitable or philanthropic organizations. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of a number of Swiss or foreign finance and banking organizations in Switzerland.
