Christine de Montmollin is a graduate of the University of Neuchatel Law School (lic.iur. 1981). She was admitted in Switzerland both to the Neuchatel Bar (1983) and the Geneva Bar (1998). Christine de Montmollin worked as a lawyer with "Baloise Assurances", Law Department in Basel (1983-1986). From 1986 to 1991, she was Assistant to Prof. G. Petitpierre at the University of Geneva Law School (Matrimonial Law and Contract Law). Christine de Montmollin worked as a clerk to the High Court of Geneva (1991-1992). She joined law firm Borel & Barbey as an associate in 1997.
