Alfred Girod graduated in business and industrial sciences in 1980. After having obtained the diploma of certified Tax expert in 1990, he worked for various tax consulting firms before joining KPMG in 1998. Borel & Barbey recruted Alfred Girod in 2010 as counsel in domestic and international tax law.


Alfred Girod is a member of the Romand Order of Tax Experts (OREF) and participates actively in the preparation of oral exams and diploma works for tax experts candidates.


Having worked during many years for several international audit firms, Alfred Girod has broad experience in corporate tax matters and international tax planning. He has also assisted various multinational corporations for their establishment in Switzerland.
